Coolaroo and Illawarra take great pleasure in welcoming
you to this, the third Coolawarra Easter Classic
Alpaca Auction,
which commemorates the long and strong relationship that
exists between these two highly respected and successful
alpaca studs.
Combining the best of old world genetics with new world
technology.
Between them the Coolaroo and Illawarra Alpaca Studs have
a wealth of experiences and resources to draw from including,
but not limited to:

over 30 years of combined alpaca experience and herd development;

a long and successful show record embracing the 20 year
history of the Australian alpaca industry;

from Australia and overseas;

combined herd of over 1250 alpacas;

The Coolawarra Classic will offer for inspection
and sale a unique selection of stud
quality stock, male
and female,
young and mature, suited for showing
or use in an ET programme. They have been specifically
selected from
amongst the top
tier of stock from Coolaroo, Illawarra
and invited studs, all bred to SRS criteria of density,
fineness, length,
lustre and handle. Such is our confidence
in the quality of these
animals, and the interest they will
attract, that we are taking the unprecedented
step
of offering
them
mostly without
reserve.
Payment
All animals will have been unofficially "pre-screened" by
an independent Australian alpaca vet and alpaca judge to
comply with export screening protocols, but are offered as
is, and without guarantee, with money payable on the fall
of the hammer. Potential buyers are urged to make their own
independent assessment prior to purchase. The vendors undertake
to make a substitution, at their discretion, for an alpaca
destined for export, should that alpaca fail to pass screening
